CELL BIOLOGY
When certain genes come together there can be certain characteristics which pronounce themselves with a sort of picturesque beauty. These genetically defined characteristics pronounce themselves not as smooth blonde hair, or a perfect body. Beauty, is not the picturesque quality in cell biology.
Instead it is more the genetic abnormalities that are seen as the picturesque in cell biology. The large nose, the high cheek bone, the irregularity of genetics. That is what an artist would paint in the world of cell biology.
Humans are naturally alert to these characteristics, whether because of mating purposes or survival tendencies. The human eye is caught by abnormalities, it intrigues, and scares. It is the picturesque.
